34 thousand companies were established in Turkey within five years, the number of Arab companies outnumber the number of European companies.
A statement issued by the Federation of Chambers and Exchange of Goods in Turkey on closed and established companies said on Monday that 25 European countries founded 5,000 companies from the beginning of 2013 until the end of last month. Germany came first with the establishment of one 10602 companies.
The companies, founded by 13 countries from the Gulf and the Middle East, have reached more than 15,000 companies in the period.
The statement pointed out that with the decline in the number of European capital companies with the passage of days in Turkey, Arab capital firms are witnessing a big increase.
The statement pointed out that the number of foreign capital companies established in Turkey since the beginning of January 2013, and until September of this year, reached 34 thousand and 175 companies.
The statement also pointed out that 25 European countries have established five thousand and 310 companies in an independent and in partnership with local companies, while the number of companies established by 13 Arab countries in the period mentioned reached up to 13 thousand and 37 companies.
The Gulf and Middle East countries in 2013 established about 76,000 capital companies in Turkey, while the number of companies established since the beginning of this year and until the end of last month reached about 3,486 companies.
The Syrians ranked first among the Arab countries in the establishment of companies in Turkey during the last 6 years, by 7 thousand and 599 companies, and the Saudis came second with the establishment of two thousand and 75 companies, followed by Iraqis who established 1436 companies.
In 2013, Emiratis established 29 companies in Turkey. The number of companies opened since the beginning of this year until the end of last month was 219.
The number of Qatari companies has witnessed a qualitative leap in recent years as a result of the development of political, military and economic relations with Turkey. Qataris established about 13 companies in 2013. The number of companies established since the beginning of 2018 until the end of last month reached 135.
The number of European companies in recent years has fallen to about 50 percent. The number of German companies established in Turkey in 2013 was 394, and this number has fallen to less than 150 companies.
The number of French companies fell from 83 to 38, Italian from 95 to 30, Spanish from 41 to 18.
