Learn About Büyükçekmece Kultur Park

Büyükçekmece Kultur park is one of the entertaining places of Istanbul in spring and summer and every year it hosts International Festivals. The park area protects the historical texture by restoring the works of Mimar Sinan. The Mayor of Büyükçekmece, Dr.Hasan Akgün, highly appreciates the facilities and restored many such as miniature local houses and tea garden where you can taste local festivals and Ramadan events every year.

 

The 635-meter-long Historic Sultan Süleyman Bridge, built by architect Sinan, has a wonderful view at sunset. Right in front of Amfi theatre you can find an area that serve as “Local Houses” are indispensable places for the wooden houses where you can taste dishes from many regions of Anatolia, you can find tastes of every locality and the tastes of these regions in the local houses located just opposite the Amfi theatre.

There’s a lot of Anatolian tastes to try such as meat wrap, sirloin, shepherd roasting, hair roasting, rice pudding, mulching, kale meatballs, anchovy pilaf, black cabbage wrap, hellim cheese meatballs, kale, meat bread, pancake, rice pudding, baklava affordable prices.

 

The Mayor of Büyükçekmece, Hasan Akgün, who collected all the tastes of Anatolia in one spot said “Our small-town houses, which offer many tastes from the east to the west, offer their guests the opportunity to eat the foods of the countries they particularly longed for.
