Istanbul is preparing to host the 15th edition of the Furniture International (CNR İMOB-15), the third largest furniture exhibition in the world.
The exhibition is the gateway to Turkish furniture to the world. The exhibition is organized by the Istanbul Trade Fair Company in cooperation with the Federation of Furniture Associations with the participation of more than 600 companies from all over the world.
The exhibition offers the latest models and unique designs of salon sets, bedrooms, living rooms, office furniture, kitchen furniture and all furniture accessories.
In the previous edition, the number of foreign visitors increased by 50 per cent to 63,655 foreign visitors and is expected to reach a record high this year in terms of foreign visitors.
The exhibition will be held on the grounds of the CNR Expo Center on an area of 150,000 square meters between 22-27 January.
The Turkish exports of furniture, amounting to $ 2 billion and 750 million dollars, during 2017, amid aspirations to enter the list of the top five in the world in this area.
Turkey aims to raise the value of its furniture exports to $ 10 billion in 2023.
