Turkish Trade Minister Rohzar Bekjan announced on Friday that the country’s exports will rise to 168.1 billion dollars in 2018.
This came in a speech for the meeting of the Board of Exporters of Turkey, the data of the country’s exports in 2018.
The minister added that Turkey’s exports rose by 7.1 percent in 2018, recording 168.1 billion dollars, the highest recorded exports in the history of the Republic on an annual basis.
Turkey’s imports fell to $ 223.1 billion in 2018, a decrease of 4.6 percent.
The forecasts of the Turkish Ministry of Trade indicate that the proportion of the country’s exports will continue to rise compared to the imports in 2019.
